There are many simple relaxation techniques you can learn to diffuse anger. One such technique can be done anywhere and only takes 5 minutes. Close your eyes and take deep slow breaths. Imagine you are at a beach where tide is coming in. Every time the water comes up a little farther; covering your feet, then calves, knees, etc. Every time the water goes out, it takes some of your stress with it. By the time the waves make it over your head, you should be pretty relaxed.

A note of caution, this technique is inappropriat while actually driving.
